Middle GA CPCU Chapter November Meeting Agenda 11/16/2017

Old Business:

  • Approved August & September Minutes

  • Reminder of continuing education credits that need to be reported by all CPCUs.Webinars offered by The Institutes or anything offered through the learning center are automatically reported, other activities must be manually entered by the designation holder.

  • I Day Success!Chapter profit after all expenses paid - $3,367.36.  Venue was changed to Amory Ballroom and the caterer was Grow. 

  • Recruitment and Retention bonus - $1,050.00 – to be used for recruitment and retention efforts

New Business

  • Christmas Social – December 7th @6:30 The Rookery – Special Events Room.We will also welcome and acknowledge our new designees and swear in our 2018 Board so we would like to have as many chapter members as possible in attendance. RSVPs are requested. 

  • Year-end wrap up, reports and Circle of Excellence submissions are in the works.This is the first year of the new Platinum level and if possible we would like to aim for this level. 

  • Theater Macon is presenting Beauty and Beast as a benefit performance for Daybreak.It’s November 30th @ 8:00. Tickets are $25. Please see more details on Daybreaks facebook page.

  • Election ballot for the New Board for 2018 will go out the week after Thanksgiving.  Please remember to vote. 

  • April 19-21, 2018 CPCU Leadership Summit will be in Baltimore, Maryland.

  • Guest Speaker  - Robert Edmondson - Sr. Project Engineer from SEALIMITED.  Mr. Edmondson was joined by Finton Hobbs, and Clint Walker both from SEALIMITED.  SEALIMITED has been offering expertise in forensic analysis, scientific evaluation and product testing for nearly 50 years.  Mr. Edmonson's representation was on water intrustion.
