May's meeting was held on May 19, 2106 at The Brickyard. Our guest speaker was Suzanne Worthen, Owner of M & S Shooting Solutions, in Macon. Suzanne gave a presentation on gun safety and training.
23 people were in attendance. Candi Faulk (GFB) and Jonathan Holliday (Intern at GFB), were both guests at this month's luncheon. Candi is a recent CPCU completer and GFB Claims Litigation Manager Secretary and will be attending conferment in Hawaii this September. Jonathan is GFB's Underwriting Summer Intern. He is currently a student at UGA and will be graduating with a degree in Risk Management at the end of this year. Welcome to Candi and Jonathan!
Old Business:
$500 check has been received from winning the Ethics Month contest! We also won the Cold Circle of Excellence for 2015!
We are still working on putting together member discounts for our chapter. Our first official discount is through Orison Wines. Chapter members will receive 40% off of their purchase using the code CPCUCHRIS.
New Business:
Vicki Shepard and Erin Tolbert are co-chairing the committee for I-Day/2016. Tammy Parker is on the committee, as well. Denise Bowman is helping get the committee started in the planning by providing the information, contacts, and sharing her experiences with chairing last year. Thank you, Denise!

Chris Orrison has suggested a cook-out for chapter members and their families, possibly for the month of July or August at Amerson Water Park. We will follow-up on this suggestion in our next meeting.
