June's meeting was held at The Brickyard. Robert Harvill, founder of Committed Christian Outdoors, was our guest speaker.
Vicki Hatcher (Farm Staff U/W, GFB) was recognized as our newest member and CPCU completer.
Old Business:
- An P & C Day Committee conference call was held earlier in the month.
- Chris Orrison has spoken with the DOI to attempt to secure a speaker.
New Business:
- We will have a picnic at Amerson Water Park in August. Chris will contact them to make a reservation. *
- If you need a CPCU chapter member name tag or need to update your name tag, please let Max Montgomery know.
- Chris asked for a vote for our chapter to join the Mercer Executive Forum. We approved. He will research the membership levels to decide which we should chose and chapter members will take turns attending the Executive Forum's presentations. - Vicki Shepard gave an update on planning for P & C Day.

Speaker:
Robert Harvill, founder of Committed Christian Outdoors, was this month's speaker. He told us about the work that CCO is doing in our community.
Committed Christian Outdoors, a non-profit organization which was started in August of 2015. Robert has a passion for hunting and for Christ. The organization is designed to teach kids about the outdoors while spending time with them and sharing Christian values. CCO's primary focus is on children who don’t otherwise have the opportunity to be involved in such activities, which include hunting and fishing. Robert and his wife want to create moments and memories that the kids will cherish throughout their life.
