CPCU Board Meeting

Tuesday, February 19, 2019, 2pm – 3 pm

 

Members in Attendance : Vicki Shepard, Sonya Barbee, Denise Bowman, Angie Madison

Leadership Summit – April 3rd – 6th

  • Hope will attend

  • COE and Ethic Presentation Awards are given at this event

Ethics Month –

  • Mike Lawrence has indicated that he has a presentation in mind and will be able to tell us more by the time of our next chapter meeting on 2/26/2019

I-Day –

  • We would like to look into booking an “all inclusive” venue this year. Some suggestions are:

Anderson Conference Center          Hotel by Mercer University

  • Homewood Suites-Marriott

  • Riverside Methodist Home-Vineville Methodist

  • Macon State-Hutchings Career Center

Mentorship Program –

  • Looking into creating a mentorship program for candidate membership CPCUs

  • Vicki will work on an outline for this project that she can present at Q2 board meeting

Sponsorship Opportunities –

  • Servpro has asked if we are interested in sponsoring their annual Golf Outing at the Brickyard this year. Proceeds go to the Methodist Children’s Home. We voted to sponsor at the $250 level

Inclusivity / Diversity Meeting Planning –

  • This goes toward our COE.

  • Have not decided if we want to work it in with I-Day or have a separate meeting, possibly in May

  • Will contact Tonya Parker about putting a presentation together
